Craziness Abounds

I just can't seem to get back on my exercise schedule.  Since Grandma passed away I've been off everywhere.  Then Sunday I didn't get to run my race because I was in bed throwing up with a migraine.  I was so disappointed.

Today was a good workout though.  No one was here as it is Reading Week.  I had no problems getting a treadmill or a bike.  Tomorrow my practice got moved to the University so I'm thinking of coming in early to get a workout in before practice.  I don't have a morning practice Friday morning, but it's supposed to be a bit warmer so I may try to get a run outstide that day.

I have 17 days until my next 5K race.  I'm running a St. Patrick's Day 5K and I'm really excited!  It will be the first day of March Break so it will be a good start!

Now on to my work for swim team.  I have to enter a ton of test set data, but should have minimal interuptions as all the other coaches are at meets and I'm covering practices.  So a nice quiet time here at the University.

Race tomorrow morning

I have a race tomorrow morning bright and early.  It's only a 3K, but it's going to be so cold.  I'm really dreading the cold run.  The snow is supposed to hold off until Monday so it should just be the butt cold temps I have to deal with.  My goal is to get it done as fast as I can so that I can get some hot chocolate or hot coffee in me.  I'll post a picture tomorrow.

Ugh...

I have been in newsletter hell for two days.  Trying to get all the last minute submissions in and printed.  It's been two straight days in front of a computer.  I need to get out and run or walk or something.

Tomorrow is supposed to be nice so I'm taking both dogs on a nice long walk.  We all need to get out and with all the snow and ice melting it should be a good time to get out.  Friday I'm running and riding the recumbent bike.  I just need to get out!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am finding if I miss a day or two I start to go crazy.  Belly dancing class did help last night.  I had a great core workout and felt so much better.  Now just something a bit more physical and I should be golden.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Mike is out of town for work so we will be celebrating at a later date.  I feel like I need to be doing something though so I'll do it for myself.

My running/exercise has taken a hit the last week.  My grandma passed away and things were hectic for a few days then when I got back I just never got back on schedule.  I felt out of sync.  Yesterday I fixed that.  I ran for 20 minutes on the treadmill and then rode for 30 minutes on the recumbent bike.  It felt so good.  Today I will be doing a core workout instead of doing some other work I should be doing.  I am the Queen of Procrastination so tonight will be a long night.  LOL.

I have a short little 3k run on Sunday.  I'm excited, but a bit nervous about running in the snow.  I'm glad it's just a short little run in that respect.  I did enter another 5K race for August.  I will be running the Chocolate Race at the end of August.  I'm pretty excited and we may just make a weekend of it.  We'll have to see.

Well, now I'm off to eat lunch and put off my work a bit longer.

Here comes the snow!

I made sure I got at least 30 minutes on the bike in today because it sounds like I will be shoveling a heck of a lot of snow tomorrow.  I'm excited though.  I love snow and have been wanting just one big storm this winter.  Looks like it hits tomorrow!  We are expected to get 20-30 cm tonight and tomorrow (I think that means about a foot.  I should have paid better attention in math class.).

Mike's brother gave him that PX90 program so I may try that tomorrow if I'm snowed in and can't get to the gym.  I've heard its challenging and really kicks your butt.  I'm going to need that especially since bellydancing has been cancelled for tonight.

I also noticed that the donut meter on the side of the blog has been going up.  This makes me sooooo happy!!!!!!  I love little things like that.  I've killed 23 donuts!!!!!!!

I'm getting ready to head to practice and then home to settle in for the night.  I'm all set to get snowed in.  I have plenty of veggies to make Greek salad and lots of celery for celery and peanut butter.  I'm good to go!
